Construction of Orange Base Hospital

The School of Rural Health has a long association with the Orange, Bathurst and Dubbo Base Hospitals. Our students are placed in the hospital and associated local clinics to gain valuable teaching and clinical experience. The proposed site of the permanent Orange Campus is adjacent to the new Orange Base Hospital, currently under construction on the Bloomfield Psychiatric Hospital site located on Forest Road. By mid 2011 the new hospital should be commissioned and will provide state-of-the-art facilities in a provincial centre.
