School of Rural Health

The School of Rural Health of the University of Sydney was established in 2001 as part of the Federal Government's Regional Health Strategy and with the encouragement and support of rural clinicians. It aims to provide excellent delivery of the Sydney Medical Program in a rural setting, and to strengthen the rural medical workforce. The school has campuses in Dubbo and Orange, and additional facilities in Bathurst.
